Hello
Rosa’s Animals
A friend took this photo of me a few years ago in Central Park in New York City. I was standing next to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, a place I love to explore! That’s where I discovered the story told in my recent book, Rosa’s Animals. You can see one of the painter Rosa Bonheur’s masterpieces above, and read more about her and her unusual life by clicking on the beautiful cover, or checking the BOOKS page.
I have been discovering and writing down stories all my life. Twenty nine of them have been published as books for children and young teenagers. I have also spent many happy hours reading and talking to children, teachers, librarians and other readers and writers at schools, libraries, universities and conferences. Stories are where my heart is. Stories can save us.
